Joy Seaman has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her sensational work in the Arts & Crafts Industry.


LAS VEGAS, NV, March 11, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Joy Seaman has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her sensational work in the Arts & Crafts Industry. As Owner of Dreams and Things by Design as well as throughout her brilliant 15 year professional career, Joy has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be among the best.

Dreams and Things by Design is a business dedicated to creating handmade arts & crafts for special occasions. Among the artistic products available are picture albums designed for weddings, babies, sports and military. They also design a wide variety of other items such as money boxes, certificates, registries and an assortment of other accessories.

Joy has been artistically gifted since she was a small child with designing crafts. She truly feels that if something is made by hand that it is a gift from the heart and that is precisely the foundation on which her business is built.

In 1995, the idea to start a business was born when her oldest brother was getting married and she wanted to make something special for him and his bride. She went to the fabric store and witnessed a pattern for a covered album, purchased it and brought it home to begin working on a wedding album for them. She fell in love with it, threw the pattern away and started designing her own albums from there. After winning a bowling tournament, she took the prize money and started her business.

With humble beginnings, Joy was still in a position where she had to keep a regular job while she got her business off the ground. She learned about the wedding business after working for a bridal shop which she managed for 12 years. She had the privilege of working with wedding couples all over the world, putting weddings together and attending a significant amount of them as well.

Joy is also a Client Coordinator for Michael's Craft Store. She greatly enjoys traveling and fishing in her spare time.
